Integrate with Salesforce
To integrate LavaReach with SalesForce, you will need a SalesForce Account that can create custom field properties.
- Create Custom Properties
Custom properties can be found in the SalesForce Setup.
You can create custom properties by going to the Object Manager and selecting the object you want to add the custom property to (Contacts)
Once you have selected the object, click on the Fields & Relationships tab and click on the New button to create a new custom property.
Create the following properties as needed:
Property Name | Property ID | Field Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
LavaReach Lead Source | Read Later | Single-line text | This field will always be set to LavaReach. It is a convenient field for you to track your leads. |
LavaReach Linkedin URL | Read Later | Single-line text | SalesForce API does not update the linkedin field in the Leads. So we will use this as a workaround. |
LavaReach Outreach Status | Read Later | Text | This field can be used for lead scoring. Available values are 'Unmarked', 'MessageReplied', 'LinkOpened', 'MessageOpened', 'MessagesSent', 'UnsubscribedBounced' |
LavaReach Lead Score | Read Later | Single-line text | Lead scoring for Lead prioritization |
LavaReach Outreach Category | Read Later | Single-line text | Lead category for lead prioritization, valid fields include "Hot", "Warm", and "Cold" |
2. Update Custom Variable IDs
Whenever you create a new custom field in SalesForce, a field ID will be generated. LavaReach system needs to know the field ID so we can populate the fields. You will need to click on Copy Field ID on the field.
Once you have the field name, you will need to go to the LavaReach Integrations Settings page and paste the field ID into the corresponding field in LavaReach and click Update.
3. Connecting To LavaReach
Next, you will need to connect your SalesForce account to LavaReach so we can populate your CRM.
To do so, simply go to the Integrations page in your LavaReach account and follow the instructions.
